It's Friday and I'm tired. I think I'm coming down with a cold. At the fabric store I got some stuffing and buttons so that I can continue on my mission to populate the planet with sock monkeys. Somebody's gotta do it. Might as well be me. I am trying to make a store for my sock monkeys .... Anyway, I'm tired and achy and grouchy and I just want to nestle in and make a nice fuschia sock monkey with sporty striped extremeties. I am comforted by making them. It is repetetive and simple and predictable and safe and comforting.
