being a people-pleaser is no good. too nice. too polite. make sure not to offend anyone! susan b. anthony said: "Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not the advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory unannounced, stray dogs that amble in, sniff around a bit and simply never leave. Our lives are measured by these" that is good, but not what i was looking for. it was this one: "Cautious, careful people, always casting about to preserve their reputations . . . can never effect a reform." where do i want to effect a reform? i would like people to be more genuine. which means i need to be more genuine. authentic. i know that i am a creative person who has many neglected talents. a very perceptive, observant, insightful mind combined with emotions that have been through the wringer many times.
